Bronze artworks are timeless material forms meant to be appreciated and enjoyed in all environments; however, these artworks will only maintain their original appearance as long as they are periodically cared for. Environmental factors such as rain, snow, pollution, and vandalism will affect the short and long-term stability of outdoor bronze sculptures.
At Falls Art Foundry we provide expert restoration services including periodic cleaning, waxing, painting and re-patination; structural repair and component replacement.
Restoration begins with an evaluation of the work and its surroundings to determine the best approach for its care. Our goal is to understand the original intent of the artist so that we can most faithfully restore a work of art to its original and proper condition.
We highly encourage developing a maintenance program for your artworks. Such a program will provide cost effective treatment, extend the life of the artwork and reduce the need for large- scale and costly conservation needs.
